ABOUT THE TRIP

Join fellow parents and supporters on a  journey through the land of Israel to experience the power of NCSY Summer. You can join us for the whole week or choose your own days.

  • See first-hand what it’s like for public school students to experience Israel for the first time
  • Get a behind-the-scenes look at what makes NCSY Kollel and Michlelet internationally-renowned educational forces
  • Spend an inspiring Shabbat in Jerusalem with TJJ (The Jerusalem Journey)
  • Experience the magic of Yom NCSY — a night of celebration and camaraderie with more than 1,000 NCSYers
  • Tour Israel with inspiring educators from NCSY, leaders from the Orthodox Union and Roshei Yeshiva from Yeshiva University
  • Only $699 for the whole week (or choose which days you want to join)

 

ITINERARY

Tuesday, July 23

  • Welcome Dinner at Papagaio restaurant (all-you-can-eat style)
Cost: $60 pp (transportation in the Jerusalem area available upon request)

 

Wednesday, July 24

  • Travel to Beit Shemesh
  • Join NCSY Michlelet at the beautiful Yeshivat Reishit Yerushalaim campus in Beit Shemesh
  • Lunch with Michlelet
  • Travel to Jerusalem
  • Tour Yad Vashem museum with NCSY GIVE girls, led by Rabbi Chanoch Teller
  • End the day with Dinner at Café Ramon, Jerusalem
Cost: $150 pp (includes transportation, activities, lunch and dinner)

 

Thursday, July 25

  • Travel to Chevron with NCSY TJJ (The Jerusalem Journey)
  • Tour Chevron
  • Kfar Etzion
  • Kever Rachel
  • Lunch
  • Join NCSY Kollel in Beit Meir for the afternoon
    • Shiur with YU Roshei Yeshiva
    • Participate in NCSY Kollel’s world-class sports program. Bring your sneakers or your bathing suit! (optional)
  • Dinner with Kollel
Cost: $100 pp (includes transportation, activities, lunch and dinner)

 

Friday, July 26

  • Join NCSY TJJ (The Jerusalem Journey) in the Old City
  • Tour the Kotel Tunnels
  • Visit The Davidson Center (Southern excavations)
  • Light Lunch
  • Those who wish to join one of the NCSY groups for Shabbat or a Shabbat meal,  please email summer@ncsy.org
Cost: $90 pp (includes transportation, activities and lunch)

 

Shabbat, July 27

  • Shabbat Shalom

Sunday, July 28

  • Travel to Rechovot
  • 10:00 Join NCSY ICE Israel at Project Leket (vegetable picking)
  • Lunch with Ice Israel
  • Machon Ayalon
  • Independence Hall
  • Sponsor and join an exclusive BBQ for IDF soldiers on their base
Cost: $225 pp (includes sponsorship of the BBQ for IDF soldiers, transportation, activities, lunch and dinner)

 

Monday, July 29 (Yom NCSY)

  • Join NCSY TJJ Ambassadors for a day in Binyamin
  • The Visitors center in Sha’ar Binyamin
  • Binyamin Winery
  • Shilo and Tel Shilo
  • Return to Jerusalem to get organized for…
  • Yom NCSY at Mini Israel
Cost: $130 pp (includes transportation, activities, lunch and dinner)

FAQ

  • Q. Do we have to have a kid on a program to join the trip?

    • No. You are welcome to join the trip for any day, even if you don’t have a child on that specific program.

  • Q. What if he have a kid with us. Can we bring him/her?

    • Yes. The same price applies to children over the age of nine. For questions regarding children under nine, please email summer@ncsy.org
