NCSY’s Leadership and Development Experience (LEAD), sponsored in part by the Leon Legacy Fund, has been a spotlight program for staff over the years. Each cohort had an intimate group of striving leaders who successfully learned and integrated the adaptive skills one needs to lead within our essential organization. This year, LEAD has the opportunity to facilitate a larger cohort of staff and, with a critical organizational partnership, have the support for even more staff at all levels of NCSY.
Over the past eighteen months, the OU Human Resources department has been working on ways to further support staff throughout the organization, design career trajectories within divisions and across them, and, more recently, with a grant from the Mayberg Foundation, expand professional development opportunities for NCSY specifically.
With the new 2023-24 NCSY year upon us, LEAD is being integrated into the overall OU Talent Development Strategy. It will launch with the flagship LEAD program, led by Dr. Eliezer Jones, NCSY’s Director of Innovation and Leadership Development Associate, and three additional cohorts facilitated by Shai Kopitnikoff, Assistant Director of Talent Management for the OU HR Department.
This is exciting news for the leadership development of our NCSY staff and highlights the commitment NCSY and the Orthodox Union as a whole have in supporting one another in professional growth. We look forward to working with the OU HR department along with the increased support for our staff.
