Gap Year Central

Taking a gap year is honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The guys I met, the friends I made and the people I learned from are all such amazing and genuine people. I gained so much from just a few short months. It’s hard to imagine where I would be now if I hadn’t gone.

I spent my Gap Year in a Seminary in Har Nof, Jerusalem and it was an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world. I was given the opportunity to explore myself and my relationship with God and Judaism while also forming a special bond with the land of Israel. It was a year dedicated to learning and self-reflection while also making long lasting connections with amazing people. My seminary laid the foundation for the person I hope to become and I’m incredibly grateful for it.

Gap Year made Israel my daughter’s home. This experience has been nothing short of incredible. My daughter’s whole life has changed from being a public school JSU teen to making her way to Israel for Gap Year, watching her grow…there’s nothing like it. There’s really no words to describe how incredible Gap Year was for my daughter and how it’s changed not only her life but ours as well. It was an emotional journey but well worth it!
