Upon entering the contest, entrants certify that subjects were treated with respect and dignity, and that no people or wildlife, nor the environment were harmed in creating the photograph.
All contact information provided must be valid, truthful and current. Entries submitted must be received by the close of the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible entries. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify false entries or entries suspected of being false. Persons discovered entering under several names will be disqualified. Only complete valid entries will be accepted. Sponsor will not verify receipt of entries. All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. In the event a dispute regarding the identity of the individual who actually submitted an entry cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible.
SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER:
All eligible submissions will be subject to a selection process by a review committee.
Applications will be judged based on a combination of creativity, connection to Purim/Israel and originality.
The entries will be judged by a panel of three (3) staff members of NCSY / JSU National Marketing. Winners will be determined by those three staff members in their sole discretion. The decision of NCSY/National Marketing team is final and binding.
The winners will be notified by DM to the IG account that submitted the photo. The winners will be required to respond (as directed) within seven (7) days of attempted notification. Failure to respond within seven days of notification will result in forfeiture of the prize and, in such case, Sponsor may select an alternate winner from among the remaining eligible entries. Winners under 18 will be sent an affidavit of eligibility/liability/publicity release (“Release”) in order to accept the prize, that will need to be signed by an adult guardian. Unless restricted by law, winners will be required to complete and return the Release within fifteen (15) days from the date of notification. Except where prohibited by law, winners’ name and photograph(s) may be required to receive the prize and may be used at Sponsor’s discretion for future advertising, publications and promotional materials. Except where restricted by law, winners must allow Sponsor to use his or her name and photograph for such advertising, publications and promotional purposes in order to claim the prize. Unless restricted by law, the winners’ name may be published on Sponsor’s web sites in the form of a first and last name and hometown. An alternate winner will be selected from among the remaining eligible entries if a winner: (i) cannot be reached; (ii) fails to obtain all signatures on the Release and to return the documents in a timely manner as required pursuant to these Official Rules; or (iii) cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason. Prize must be picked up or claimed within thirty (30) days of the winning notification.
Sponsor will not be obligated to make multiple attempts to contact the winner. The winner may be issued a 1099 form. Winners are solely responsible for any and all federal, state and local income taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prize.
In the event of a dispute about the identity of an Entrant, each entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry.
Pictures of the prizes are for illustration purposes only. Actual prizes may differ.
Winners cannot assign or transfer their prize to another person or business. All activities related to the prize are at the winners’ own risk and subject to whatever restrictions are imposed by the entities that govern such activities. Acceptance, participation in and/or use of the prize are at the winners’ sole risk and Sponsor is not responsible for damages whatsoever, including special, indirect, or consequential damages, arising out of or in connection with the use and/or misuse of the prize. If prize notification or any prize is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected.
Sponsor is not responsible for typographical errors.
