Judaism Made Personal
No two Jewish teens begin in the same place or follow the same path. NCSY meets teens where they are, giving them the space to ask questions, explore their Judaism, and grow toward their individual potential.
NCSY was founded by the Orthodox Union in 1954 with a belief in the potential of every Jewish teen. With the vision of Harold and Enid Boxer a”h, NCSY created opportunities for teens to experience Judaism, build meaningful relationships, and grow in their connection to the Jewish people. More than 70 years later, that same belief continues to guide NCSY as we reach tens of thousands of Jewish teens each year.

Jewish growth happens through relationships. Volunteer advisors, full-time staff, and peers create connections rooted in Torah that give teens the support, mentorship, and inspiration to grow.
Judaism You Can Experience Judaism becomes meaningful when teens have opportunities to live it. Through school clubs, after-school programs, Shabbatons, volunteer opportunities, national conferences, and summer programs, teens encounter Torah and Jewish life in ways that can become truly their own.
