This Pasha gets its name from the command God gives to Moshe to go to Pharaoh and warn him about the final plagues that will strike his people. God admits to Moshe that Pharaoh doesn’t really have agency anymore. God is using him as a vehicle for bringing the glory of God to earth.

Later in the Parsha, the Jewish people receive their first commandments from God and take the first steps on their journey as the Chosen nation. In essence, these early mitzvot are also God saying go. The mitzvot are how we as humans bring God’s glory into the world. They are just and wonderous and spectacular as the miracles God performed in Egypt.
