NCSY Alumnus Jacob Novikov Sworn in to the NYPD

Jacob Novikov was the only recognizable Jew at Franklin High School in Franklin, MA. One Shabbat afternoon, an NCSY Advisor introduced him to New England NCSY Regional Director Rabbi Shmuel Miller.

That meeting led to Jacob attending his first NCSY Shabbaton where he experienced living and genuine Judaism. Jacob quickly acclimated to his extended Jewish family in NCSY and become the only kippah-wearing student at Franklin High.

After high school, NCSY helped Jacob spend year learning Torah in Israel. Jacob came back to NCSY as an advisor while studying at Yeshiva University.
